Hullo Fellow Bibliophiles! I'm psyched to be a part of this community as a volunteer. I found Librivox a couple of years ago and I've been wanting to give back some of the joy it has brought me. This pandemic and home quarantining has given me the gift of time to dedicate myself to a project, so I finally can! I am a career educator, (AP lit teacher, then literacy instructional coach, Academic Dean, and High School Assistant Principal), mom of three kids, three dogs, four chickens, and one cat. I miss reading with, and to students. Reading and sharing here will enable me to reach others without risking anyone's health.

Looking forward to great fun with everyone!

Welcome to LibriVox Kitti! You bring a wealth of experience to our community. I've made a little video to welcome people; It has some basic info about us that I thought might be helpful to know right at the start. In any case ask lots of questions, we are a helpful bunch here and you will fit right in. https://youtu.be/mwtn_2d3_qs

Wassssuuup!
What a great greeting, bravo! Of all your pets, the coolest seem to be chickens; surely they keep the rest in submission)))
Yes, even in such a bleak phenomenon as quarantine, there can be found something constructive.
It's great to see such a cheerful and lively volunteer like you! I am sure that you will read great texts with soul and share your joy with many people. Thank you for being just so and good luck to you!
