I see, I'll keep that in mind for future recordings. Using audacity, would the recording volume being placed at 89/100 (about 20% louder than usual) be roughly that loud?

Welcome to the Poetry Collection, Jen! A very interesting poem you've chosen, and nicely recited! Thank you! It's PL OK!

The percentage number is not indicative of the volume in decibels. I would suggest going about 10% higher in Audacity, and we'll check again in your next recording, what decibels that gives us. Thank you for trying! :9:

Thank you, Sam, and welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection!
Congratulations on your first recording! All great with it, I just made a note for myself on the filename, as it's missing the underscore before 128kb, but I can fix that when cataloguing.

And here's your Reader Page: https://librivox.org/reader/15457 which you can also access through your name-link in the Magic Windows. It lists all projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects under the "Reader section details" link.

Have fun here!

Thank you, Larry! Interesting selections!
I've made a note for myself on the filenames to fix at cataloguing, as they're missing the b, in 128kb. Regardless, they are PL OK, and wonderfully read!
