I see that line is tagged as Frail. I assume that's an error and it's really Mrs. Frail?

Here is Ben:

(I realize the performance becomes much more chaotic as it goes on. I suppose one way to interpret this is that, in the beginning, he tries to emulate the "half-home bred" part of his nature to be on his best behavior upon arriving home, but the "half-sea bred" part of him ends up overtaking anyway because he is a scallywag at heart. His crudity gains more force as he converses with the women. Note that none of this was actually intentional, and I had a mind to re-record parts to make it more uniform, but on second thought this makes more sense for the character after all?)

Thank you. And a good story about the character changes throughout play.

Our stage direction reader claim expired with only 2 of the 5 acts submitted and PL OK. And they have not logged into Librivox in 6 weeks.

I'd prefer to have already complete stage directions for Acts 2 and 3 redone to match 1, 4, and 5 if a new stage direction reader has time. But that is not required if you want to claim this.

Thanks, Todd

Thank you for all your help. Here they are. Please let me know if I need to make changes.

yes Mrs Frail is sometimes marked as simply Frail. As there is no Mr Frail in the whole play, we can assume it must be her.

Acts 3 and 5 are now PL ok. Mrs Frail definitely was crest-fallen in the end

One missed line for Act 4 (another "Frail" line ;) )

> at about 5:05: please insert: "O Lord, her coming will spoil all."

thank you, Wendy, great job ! Definitely a memorable character.

don't change anything at all in your performance !!! I wasn't at all sure how Ben would turn out, but now I hear your interpretation it's wonderful. And he is actually a very charming character in his rough honesty. Really enjoyed the entire performance.
Thank you, Tomas.

Acts 4 and 5 PL ok

One part missing for Act 3:

Todd,

I know you usually don’t like to have a reader in a play more than once, and I already am in this one twice, but I would be more than willing to do all the Stage Directions for this if you would like me to. :D

Thank you, but stage directions conflict with/"talk to' everybody else in the play and a listener might get confused. There should be other roles available in other plays for you, and someone will eventually come along here....

Thanks, Todd
