Since I wanted to read section 24 to myself for personal interest, I figured, hey, I might as well read it out loud, right?
I would like to claim section 24, please.
All yours - thanks!

Hi there! Thanks for claiming - I'll sign you up, but there are a couple of things to take care of first. I've essentially just copy & pasted this from my earlier response to Roypercy as it's the exact same info, so my apologies for any deja vu if you've already read through the thread

- Head over to the Listeners Wanted forum and post your 1-Minute Test recording. It's not an audition or anything, it's just to make sure that all of your technical settings and such are correct. For the full details, check out this article on the Wiki: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

- How would you like your name to appear in the Librivox catalogue? It can be whatever you like - your real name, your forum username, or something else entirely. We can also add a personal website to your catalogue page, if you're so inclined. Just let me know your choice.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend reading through the Newbie Guide to Recording, also on the Wiki. It's a wonderful resource for getting started, and can be found here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Newbie_Guide_to_Recording

Thanks for joining us - if anything's unclear, don't hesitate to ask. We're generally a pretty friendly bunch around here

Also, I'd like to claim 14, 15, and 22 if possible.
Thanks!
Hi Noah!

Thank you for this. One small note - when you post your link, please also be sure to let us know the length of the file in mm:ss. Makes things easier for everyone that way :)

Another reader claimed Section 14 just prior to your post, but I've signed you up for 15 & 22. Thanks again!

Also, a quick note for all of you wonderful new folks who've joined this project: to view your catalogue page, simply click your username in the MW (Magic Window). From there, if you click on the link for Reader Section Details below your username you will find a summary table showing the status of all the sections that you have signed up to read in open projects. Click on any of the thread titles in this list to navigate to the thread on the forum.

For those of you who haven't posted their preferred catalogue name just yet, I've set you up under your forum username - but don't worry, this is easily adjusted. Just post here and we'll take care of it right away.

Hi Noah,
Very nice recording of chapter #3! Two small PL notes: at 4:39 the word "unconsistent" should be changed to "uninsistent" in the phrase "...the conventional and uninsistent outlines..."
The ending silence is a bit long; please shorten it to only 5 secs.

Thanks,
Lora

Hello Realisticspeakers,
Great job on chapter 24! I have two small PL notes: at 8:56 please change "Internal" to "International" in the phrase "...the author of An International Marriage..." and at 17:11, please change "our" to "over" in "...times for giving over laughter..."

Thanks,
Lora
