Hi. A nice reading, but there are things to be done to make it better. Some of these things must be done so that we can catalog your work.hmcculloch wrote: ↑October 4th, 2020, 12:10 pm This is my recording for chapter 2, section 3

First, the filename must be corrected as Shreya explained some time ago. Also, the recording must be uploaded as a mono recording rather than stereo. (If you need help with that, please just let us know.)
Your first 20 seconds are very low in volume; this will have to be increased to match the rest, though the balance of your recording is about 4 (even 6) dB too loud. Also, you need to place 5 seconds of silence at the very end of your recording. And there is a repeat at 20:22 that needs to be eliminated.
Finally, there is quite a bit of background noise and fuzz in your recording, but this can be partially corrected. Please just ask to learn how this is done.
I know this sounds like a lot, but it really won't be too difficult. We're anxious to help you complete your offering.

Thanks for claiming the section, I'll assign it to you but since I think it's going to be your first recording, please keep in mind the specifications which you can find here https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Newbie_Guide_to_Recording
Best of luck and have fun!
