Sorry, I should have asked...

Should I read the footnotes? If yes, should I read them as I encounter them or at the end of the chapter?

Also, are the Roman Numerals to be read as numbers or letters?

For this project omit any footnotes that you may come across.

Roman numerals should be read as the numbers they represent, and abbreviations as the words they represent, except for A.D., B.C which are by common usage read as written so, Gen. x.–xi. is read as Genesis TEN to ELEVEN. (Gen. ix. 8–17). as Genesis NINE to SEVENTEEN. Words in parentheses -- just read them using voice inflection to indicate parentheses.

Thanks for checking! :)

Thanks for those instructions. I go under the theory of "the only dumb question is the one you don't ask" :-)

Yep!
And this is Ready for PL.
I'll advertise for a DPL since we don't have a volunteer, so we can get this moving.

Thank you for your interest in this project.
We do, however, request that our new readers first complete a one-minute test recording to check out all of your technical specifications and any reading issues.

From the instructions for this, and all, projects under Point 2

New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

Among the useful information there you will find instructions for completing your test recording. Once you have the "OK" on that post again here with your request and also let us know how you would like to be credited in the LibriVox catalog - real name, pseudonym or other nickname.

Also, read through all the instructions in the first post of this thread so you know the proper way to claim sections to record, how to record and submit them.
I have you in for Section 13.

I can PL this week, but won't be available next week. What say? I can step back if a DPL shows up.
