Lanham act 2 revised

I like the line where he tells Florence not to bully her mother. He knows them both so well

thank you Andrew, you really got right into character with poor Billy. I pity the boy, he didn't get a chance throughout the play. I love the portrayal you made here, trying to overplay his insecurities with roughness at one point in act 2 (which completely failed ). And slightly tipsy too, well conveyed. I enjoyed the whole performance, this will sound great once assembled.OooThatsNifty wrote: ↑November 25th, 2020, 11:23 pmHello! Act 3 is straight PL ok.
I have a few notes for the other two acts though:
for Act 1:
> at 17:35: (p. 36) repeat "yes sir, good afternoon" – is there one version you prefer, then you can cut out the other, unless you prefer Todd to choose ? Usually we only keep one version, the one that the reader prefers.
for Act 2:
> at 2:00: (p. 70) repeat "No" – also here, one version you prefer ?
> at about 2:40: (p. 71) missed line: "Oh !"
> at 3:25: (p. 74) repeat "Yes, yes"
> at about 4:20: (p. 76) missed line: "Thought you'd never get here !"
thank you

The repeats were just oversights while editing - I've cut the extras, and spliced in the missing lines:

I‘ve got both my acts recorded, but I‘ll need about another week to finish the editing.
Thanks,

Here's the charming Mrs. Lanham -- yet another character I've played who treats her husband wonderfully (sorry again, Alan ):
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/civilianclothes_mrslanham_1_128kb.mp3
I've added some sighs should you choose to use them:
At 4:10 I've added a sigh for "Mrs. Lanham sighs with relief."
At 6:05 I've added a breath intake and sigh for "Mrs. Lanham and Elizabeth sink back in horror.

yes, poor Alan, constantly called "ridiculous" by you but I already heard Alan's character, he seems to take the jibes of his wife in his stride.
Excellent job, TJ. I loved it very much. And it's absolutely PL ok.
Thank you, now looking forward to the second act
