Thanks for your recording Delmar - it was very lively and animated! Just 2 tiny notes:

:30 insert the date "1473"
26:51 "and Peter de Hagenbach" should be "and Peter von Hagenbach"

Thank you for your recording, Husain. Your reading was very articulate and the pacing perfect. Just a couple of notes on this chapter below, items which are easily fixable. If you need help with editing, let me know, although it is really a "cut and paste" operation to insert or replace words.

I might also mention, only because there is often a bewildering cast of characters to keep track of, I personally would have opted to read what the editor inserted in his brackets. These are often quite elucidating and help to dispel confusion. However, I leave that to your discretion as to whether you want to keep it as is.

:22 there is a repeat of "Charles the Bold, chapter 15"
2:57 "second in regard to M. d'Urse" I think you said Madame and it occurs to me it should be Monsieur. Can you check this? I could be wrong here
19:35 "and never will do otherwise" please delete "otherwise"
19:39 "I am advised now" should be "I am advised how"
21:32 "for nothing was about it" should be "for nothing was done about it"
30:41 You did not say "and it was the year 1472" as this is in regular parentheses and not in editor's brackets. I believe it is part of the text
31:51 "to whatever king" should be "to whatever kind"

Please make sure we have a full 5 seconds of silence at the end. I think there are only about 3.

Hey Lynnet!

I'd love to read 20, 21 and 22. But, I'm noticing there is no 22. I'm looking at Gutenberg's HTML. Any advice on that?

Thanks!

You're right, there is no chapter 22... but chapter 21 is long, so if you wish you can split it into Parts 1 and 2. It's not required, but as it is the last chapter the option is there. It's easy for me to delete the final section if it isn't needed.

Sounds good to me. I'll read 20, 21 & 22, but I'll keep 21 & 22 together. Sound ok?

That’s fine. Just see how it goes for 21 and 22. I won’t delete 22 until it’s done and dusted.
