Hi! Lovely reading. There is only one issue--I heard a repeat at 03:27 ("They may think themselves quite as good as we are" x2). Please edit and reupload! :)

May I claim section 4? It's been a while since I last recorded, do I need to do a 1 minute recording again?

Welcome back. I have assigned that section to you but it would be a great idea to check out your settings again. Just post a short 10 second test here in this forum and I will see it quickly. call it test1 or something like that. OK? :D

Yes. all yours.
here it is https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/soapbubblestories_15_128kb.mp3 Regards!
Hi sperego,

Thanks for your submission! I listened to Section 15 and you can find my PL notes below. However, I noticed that half of the story is missing (from "Granny'll be well to-morrow!" on), as well as the outro. Do you have the rest of the recording on your computer?

-Repeats: 06:00 ("that had first attracted 'Zekiel"), 11:44 ("push it open"), 13:04 ("everyone seemed to be too busy")
-5 full seconds of silence needed at end of file (currently only 4 seconds of silence, which contains clicks and other background noise)
-Incorrect file name (should be "soapbubblestories_15_barry_128kb.mp3)
-File uploaded to wrong MC folder (should be uploaded to Phil's folder, not Lynne's)

--

Just wanted to remind you about the PL notes for Section 9, as well, posted over a month ago:

Sperego,

Perfect! Here are my additional PL notes:

-The volume is too loud at 93.7 dB. To adjust the volume in Audacity, select the whole recording. Click Effect > Amplify. In the Amplification box, enter the number -4.7 dB. Verify that the file is around 89 dB using Checker.

-There is a repeat at 06:20 ("The next morning, the . . . the flowers . . .").

-There is a misreading at 07:27 ("She had gone to console other struggling workers.")

Please make the corrections listed above and upload a final file for spot PL (use the same file name). Thanks so much.
https://librivox.org/uploads/lynnet/soapbubblestories_09_128kb.mp3 I should have done :) thx!
Hi there! Did you upload the wrong file? There are still mistakes in the one and the volume is too high.

Perfect reading, other than a repeat at 09:01 ("Turn into a fish and carry me down to the Sea-city!" x2). Please edit and re-upload. Thanks!

Don't apologize! That's my job, and I wouldn't volunteer to proof-listen if I didn't love it. Your sections are PL OK now.

Sect ion 15 has been put back into the pool for anyone to claim. The original claimant, sperego, did not correct serious problems with her uploaded section where half of the section was missing, and has not been active on t he forums for 7 weeks. Too much needed to be fixed so I have opened it for anyone to record.

Hello, I claimed section four months ago. I don't think I'd be able to record my section, sorry. Is it ok to remove this section from me? Thanks
