I am interested in reading "Boyislav, Youngest of Twelve" from "Myths and Folk-tales of the Russians, Western Slavs, and Magyars" by Jeremiah Curtin.

How would you feel about some Uncle Remus? Written in dialect, so it won't be perfect, but I did grow up in the South and it seems like good one to include if well known enough?

Uncle Remus and Grimm Brothers both work for this collection. We do have to use verifiable Public Domain sources, though. If you already know where you'll be reading the tales from, you can reply with the links and we can let you know if the sources work or not.
