WiltedScribe wrote: November 29th, 2020, 8:44 pmOK, I know I promised the minor characters first, but knocking out a major character first is also helpful, right? So here is Celia:
excellently done, Tomas. Your falsetto is quite convincing ;) Celia sounds very soft spoken. All parts PL ok.

That means, two more scenes are ready to edit. I will be doing my 1.3. as soon as I am done with my huge PL backlog. And there is 3.4. assigned to Craig, so whenever you have time Craig, there's a job waiting for you ;)

Also 2.1. was edited by me, so I need someone else to PL this scene. Whoever has time, please post in the thread.

Thanks

Sonia
I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

here is 1.3. assembled. Sounds good. I especially like Craig as pompous Lord Frederick

Recording time: 7:56 min.

If someone has time to PL this scene as well, that'd be great. Thank you

I see 2.1. has been marked PL ok :hmm: Tomas, did you PL this ? Could you please always leave a note in the thread if something is done (as courtesy to our group), that way we all know what is up.

Yes, I PLed the section and meant to post in the thread, but for whatever reason forgot to. No worries, the next time I PL I will be sure to make it "official."

thank you for the PL. And yes, it's helpful to post in the thread, so that no one else does the same work needlessly.

Also, I listened to 1.3 and it's excellently edited and PL OK!
thank you for the PL and big thanks for all these sections :9: wow this is a boost forward. Everything totally PL ok. Great job on the singing now good luck with merging your song with Brad's. But I think the tune is very good in sync. I loved Silvius' Scottish accent

All right, this gives us no less than 11 scenes to edit.

OK, I realized Orlando doesn't have too much to say in the last half of the play, so I managed to record the rest:

And, barring any PL notes, I think I'm done recording! Which means we can begin editing in earnest, with the hopes of getting this cataloged by Christmas.

Hope this is OK. Bit of a frantic time at the moment, but will get the other done ASAP.

As an aside....My daughter has started doing some recording for Librivox. She was locked down with us for 4 weeks and it seemed an opportune time to help get her set up. Plus it gave a break from her stuffing me at chess. She has done quite a bit of acting, but this is new to her. It may be she could help with a few recordings if we find ourselves short. I think what she has done is pretty good.

And here is another scene. I almost think there should be fighting noises (grunting, panting, etc.) when the wrestling happens. :)

Thank you to you both! If we can continue to steadily edit over the coming week, I think we can finish this sooner than expected.

Thank you for the offer, Craig. Indeed, if she's willing to read some Shakespeare, we could certainly let her "cameo" in our next production. I'm sure Sonia wouldn't mind having a bit of extra help with the female voices

And Brad, if you'd like to contribute some grunts/pants, give it a whirl and email the file and I'll see what I can do. Act I is very nearly ready to be assembled, so you better hurry!

I don't voice either Orlando or Charles, so I don't know if grunts and pants from me would work lol
