May I record a part? I would love to sing both melodies! :)

Oh, nice! You got the U.S. version recorded, too! Thank you very much!

It looks like when you uploaded your U.S. version, your England version was overwritten because you used the same file name. Could you upload your new England version again and this time name it something like awayinamanger_pianolil_englishversion.mp3?

Hi, here are both of the recordings again!

I'm on board for all verses. I've heard something like this before. I grew up the the US version but I think I like the British version better.

Oh, and never mind this. I was thinking you had sent in only the English melody verses before.

Hi,

I hopefully have my contribution completed sometime this weekend. I'm excited!

Twinkie, when you say we harmonize in the third verse, do you just mean sing the same thing? When I saw the word harmonize, I thought you meant splitting into parts (e.g. SATB).

Thanks,
Ryan

Hooray!! Thank you for your interest!

Yes, we are all singing the same thing. After everyone has sent in their audio, I will overlap the recordings of verses 3 and 4 (--that's the "harmonizing" part).

Is it possible to get a copy of the audio track that will be mixed in behind the voices? I will be submitting my contribution here soon, but I would also be interested in mirroring this effort with a group of my friends from our church choir when I was a kid. I can easily collect their audio and edit it together, but the music track (not the template we sing a long to) adds a lot to the end product.

Please let me know if you need anything else. It felt great to sing again after months of not singing! Happy Thanksgiving! :D

You're referring to the instruments playing in the background of the final edited version of this song, yes? :) If so, HannahMB has kindly agreed to provide the background music this year, so she would be the one to ask about that.
