Charon is PL OK. Please leave ~3 seconds between lines. It make editing a great deal easier.

Hermes,
0:19 missing title: Dialogue IV. Hermes demands from Charon arrears of payment due to him for his services on the styx. Charon excuses himself on the plea of bad times; no great war or famine, as it happened, ravaging the Earth at that moment. Hermes moralises on the causes of death, different from those of old, which despatch men in crowds to Hades.

I tried to make this sound sepulchral. If you think it is too caricatured I can redo it :hmm:
Alan,
I thought it sounded very appropriate. Have fun with him, dialogue 2 is PL OK. :D

Ohhhh the character reads the title and then the whole story blurb intro! I didn't understand that, gotcha. Do you want me to add that in to the file and re-upload, or send it as a second file?

The same file and re-upload would be perfect. Thank you.

I added some bold features to the initial post instructions. Hopefully that will help others.

I don't see them now, either. I've deleted them from the MW. I'll certainly let you know if I find them elsewhere later.

1 and 11 are both PL OK! Thank you. :D

Here are the ones without introductions:

https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/dialoguesofthedead_menippus_02_128kb.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/dialoguesofthedead_menippus_10_128kb.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/dialoguesofthedead_menippus_22_128kb.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/dialoguesofthedead_menippus_25_128kb.mp3

I'd misunderstood what you meant by introductions (my fault, sheer dumbness), so I have to do a bit of rework on the others.
They should be with you in a day or two.
Best,
Adrian

Adrian,
I'm sorry about that. Is there a way I can make it clearer? It seems to be troubling without a narrator. :hmm:

Hello Linny,

There are some things that are unclear to me. As the reader of the intro, do I also do the
"stage directions" - i.e., include the text under the dialogue number. And do I read the
names of those participating before the start of the dialogue. In at least one of my lines I noticed
that there were stage directions, for example like that on p150, Pluto's line. Should I also
read these in "stage direction" style?

Best,
Adrian
