Here are my two sections. Please let me know if you want anything done differently. Sorry I am not as good a reader as Linus.

alan does a wonderful job with his singing, but I just want to remind others who choose hymns that they need not be sung. Spoken hymns are quite good.

Thanks for the compliment but I would not really call this singing, more a sing-songy speech.
I really miss singing hymns on a Sunday morning :(

Section 07, Romans 13:11-14 (MW has this listed as 8, but the source text seems to say 13).

Excellent catch! I'm very sorry for the confusion.

I read the numbering too quickly and saw the 'x' as a 'v.' (I'm not looking for sympathy, but those Romans!)

Thank you!

For the record, the correct text for Section 7 is as follows: Romans 13:11-14

11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.

13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.

14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Thank you, JordanN!

Here's section 15, 1 Corinthians 4:1-5 (KJV)

Duration: 1:10

I apologize in advance if the quality is terrible and inconsistent between these. I'll reattempt if needed.

Well, this second recording is a bit ... difficult. Did you switch to a voice-activated mic? The pauses in between phrases is dead silence and rather unnatural.

No problem. I must’ve over-baked the expander settings. I’ll re-edit.
