Just to clarify: Tricia is our Metacoordinator, (MC) meaning she takes care of setting up the project and the final cataloging and has general oversight. Our Dedicated Proof Listener (DPL) is lomond who does all the proof listening and finding those corrections that need to be made. So these comments really go to him. I am the Book Coordinator (BC), I take care of the day-to-day management chores.

Anyway, I thought I'd jump in to see what's going on.

BOTH of these recordings need some attention.
First both of them are missing part of the introduction. Right after "Please visit LibriVox DOT org, you need to say, ""Stories of the Bible, Volume 1: The People of the Chosen Land, by Myles Endicott. [Chapter Name]" You find these detailed instruction in point 7 of the lead post for the project. I know that sounds a bit redundant, but this is the standard format for most LV projects.

Silences: Chapter 22 has less than one second, and 23 has 14 seconds. You are correct that each of them should have about FIVE seconds.

So, make the above corrections, upload under the same file name, and post the links and new file lengths.

Since you are VoiceoverDenise, I thought I would mention, just FYI, that there really is an excessive amount of reverb in your recordings. Quite fine for our purposes, but something that you will need to work on if you want to go to another level. There are a lot of good resources out there, or if you want to PM (private message) me, I can give you a few tips that have helped me along the way.

I am a bit confused about which files should be PLed. I am assuming that these two files are the correct ones and not the ones in the MW.

I noticed that this Chapter 22 does have five seconds at the end although there is a bit of noise at the very end. The URL for this chapter is missing the "1" at the end of "storiesofthebiblevol'

Chapter 23 does not have five seconds at the end and is missing the "e" in "storiesofthebiblevol1".

I will PL them both to see if there are any anomalies in the actual readings.

Hang in there, Adraya2. Every reader has sections that seem to go out of their way to stymie them.
