Here's the recording for section 1. It's 29:27 minutes long. There were a lot of foreign words in this chapter so I hope I didn't butcher them too badly.

We did have a few issues here and there:

8:50 "twenty five" should be "twenty"
11:38 I heard "menacing" should be "mincing"
16:16 "fearsiously" should be "fearlessly"

20:06 "within fifty yards" should be "within fifteen yards"

Wow, this is going way back (PL notes date August 8):
