I believe The Epic of Gilgamesh as translated by William Muss-Arnolt should be in the public domain both here in Europe and in the USA as he lived/died 1860-1927 and his translation seems to have first been published in 1901.
I agree with previous contributors that this book should be recorded and available to all.
