The Merry Wind by Mary Mapes Dodge (1831-1905)

MP3 URL: https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/spc210_merrywind_mlm_128kb.mp3

The Autumn Wind by Wu-Ti (157-87 BC)
Text URL: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/42290/42290-h/42290-h.htm#Page_48

Of course, even though I remembered the statement for the recording, I uploaded them the first time with knotyouraveragejo. Can you delete those files.

Thanks,

Thank you, Craig, Sophie, smccaroni (Welcome to the Poetry Collection!), Bruce, Erin, M, and Anamika!

I got a melancholic vibe from most of these poems! I bet it's the November rain :D

Magic Window is updated with PL OKs, with just a couple of technical PL notes for Sophie:

Thank you for yet another beautiful poem! Here are my notes to your previous recording in case you missed them: viewtopic.php?p=1804687#p1804687 as the issues are the same in this recording, too (bit rate and volume). So if you could, please export again with the correct bitrate. The volume is a bit better but still quieter than desired. You can amplify by 5 dB now.

I hope I have posted the details in the right way and that the recording settings and sound are okay. This is my first actual recording, I'd like my name to be put in as Zach Hoyt. Thank you very much for putting the collection together.

Hey Zach! Welcome to Librivox and to the Poetry Collection!

I got all the details I need, and your recording is flawless! Thank you for offering it here! It's now in the Magic Window, marked PL OK!

And here is your Reader Page: https://librivox.org/reader/15239 which you can also access from your name link in the Magic Windows. It lists all projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your ongoing sections under the "Reader section details" link.

Great to have you here at Librivox! I hope you enjoy it!

Thank you, you're very kind. I've enjoyed listening to several hundred hours of Librivox content over the last few years, and I'm looking forward to starting to be a reader.
