I've never PL'd before, but I can tell you that there was a bit of a pop at the 6 second mark (not sure what that was or if it's just one of those things), you didn't make any mistakes when reading, and the kitty noise you made at the end was just darling
Thanks for the PL MIchael, I've uploaded a replacement file.

Welcome to Librivox Katie :D good first reading.

All the specs are okay, but you do have a mis-read... at 0:23 I hear "And in the darkest Shadows softly growl,"
the text reads "And in the Shadows softly growl,"
could you edit and upload please? (using the same filename )

Welcome to LibriVox millennial :D good first reading.
I would not let your volume get any lower, you should aim for your waveforms to peak near the 0.5 mark, like this:

Image

You can check your volume using our Checker program - see info at http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker You will find the volume in decibels on the Information tab. For your information, we look for around 89 dB (87-91 is OK) (all the other tech specs are there also)

Hi! Yes sorry, I guess I didn't realize the information tab bit - I assumed because it passed it was okay!
I've attached the new one its 89.3 dB
