I just submitted a post about Chapter 32 but I see that it has now been assigned to me. Good. I also want to claim Chapter 33.

Kenny -
Everything is OK with your chapter except the file name. It should be
childrensbookofchristmasstories_11_dickinson_128kb.mp3
- you missed the 't' in Christmas. If you can rename your file and send it in again with the proper name it'll be fine.

This was a very strange chapter!

Hi janikao and a big welcome to LibriVox! :D I see that you are tryhing to do your 1 minute test. That is great. Since the only section left in this project is a long one, I suggest that once you receive your OK to record, that you start with our weekly poetry viewtopic.php?f=19&t=83496 which is much shorter and a better way to learn editing

Heidi -

Your opening silence is a bit long - about 1 1/4 seconds. It should be no longer than 1 second, but I can close my eyes and pretend I didn't find that. (But reduce the length of the opening silence in your future recordings please.) You put a long pause between 'Merry Christmas, Betty, Merry Christmas" and "End of 'The Queerest Christmas'" (nearly 7 seconds), but if you as the reader think the story needs that much time to settle in the listener's mind that's your call.

Chapter 18 - PL OK.

There is a tiny difference in the recording from your chapter 10; it sounds just a bit more like it was recorded in a studio and less like a room, but both versions are fine.
Thanks for the feedback, Rich!
