Britannicus sounds very sober, but still apprehensive of his precarious situation here. It's quite nicely conveyed by the way you portray him

I find this English translation very easy to read aloud. It may not be much like the poetic style of Racine but it is a decent text in its own right

Seems to be mainly announcing the scenes with a few actual directions scattered here and there. I think I found them all.

yes I also like the translation.

And indeed...Narcissus is proving quite the manipulator here. Funny when he says to Nero he should rule himself and not submit to tutelage, but at the same time tells him exactly what to do
