[COMPLETE] Selected Poems from Michelangelo Buonarroti - tg
Now fo the first PL of this huge amount of Mr Buonarroti!
May he look at me with grace and not paint mee as an ugly old woman!
Pier
Section 4 is almost perfect.
2 remarks:
at 1:56 XIV : "Qui vuol mie sorti" instead of "Qui vuol mie sorte"
At XXXV and XLIII the last 2 epitaffi, at the beginning of XXXV and in the middle of XLIII I hear something in the background.
It's not so disturbing, but its noticeable.
Please check if you'd like to change that.
Cheers
Emanuela

Do. Or do not. There is no try.

I uploaded the revised versions of sections 4 and 7:
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/selectedpoems_004_buonarroti_128kb.mp3
(4:31 m now)
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/selectedpoems_007_buonarroti_128kb.mp3
(1:20 m)
By the way I think Michelangelo will be very happy with the corrections and so will paint you as reward, with gratitude, as a beautiful angel!

I uploaded the revised sections 10 and 17:
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/selectedpoems_010_buonarroti_128kb.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/selectedpoems_017_buonarroti_128kb.mp3
(length practically unchanged in both files)
A small question. Could you already check the last revised version of sections 5 and 6?

Thank you, Pier. By "practically unchanged", do you mean that the mm:ss form is unchanged? If it has changed by a little, we should record it, because BCs and MCs use this information to catch version mismatches.Iunta4Ios wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 3:19 am I uploaded the revised sections 10 and 17:

I well understand that the time indication is useful for BCs and MCs to check the correct correspondence with the file, and such a small different is insignificant for that purpose. By the way in case of 0:49: 58 you indicate as 0:49 or 0:50?Kazbek wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 6:20 amThank you, Pier. By "practically unchanged", do you mean that the mm:ss form is unchanged? When I say "practically unchanged" I mean we changed something like from 0:50:02 to 0:49:58, that would require (to mark the difference) to indicate non only the seconds but also their fraction.
Pier
Thanks for the confirmation. If rounding manually, I would round 0:49.58 to 0:50, but automatic rounding is sometimes different, depending on how you access the file, so I ignore differences of one second for the purposes of verification.Iunta4Ios wrote: ↑October 26th, 2020, 6:34 am I well understand that the time indication is useful for BCs and MCs to check the correct correspondence with the file, and such a small different is insignificant for that purpose. The main problem Michael,
is that I am, after all, a quite boring mechanical engineer ( even if I so much like literature and poetry), and so it repels my nature to say that the duration of a file is the "same" even if there is just a millisecond difference.
