Very short indeed. I'm not the DPL for this project, but if I were I'd say your chapter is PL OK. Maybe Phil can mark it as such.

Note: In the future please be careful with the length of the opening silence. In general it shouldn't be over a second - most readers shoot for about 1/2 second of silence before the voice starts. (Your chapter is just over a second.)

Hi. I am sorry for the delay in responding. All of your tech specs are fine but your volume is low at 76.3 decibels; we aim at 89 decibels. It should be easy to increase by using the gain on the microphone and/or the volume slider bar in Audacity. It has a little microphone icon in front of it; just slide to the right to increase the input volume. If you use the Checker you can see your volume https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKVOY

So, please increase your volume, make another test, call it TEST 2, upload and put the link right here in this thread so I will see itquickly. Zoe will be recording very soon !!!

Hi Kenny and welcome to LibriVox and to this project. This project now has a DPL (t hak you Loon!) who will check out each section. I have assigned sections 11, 17 and 32 to you. Should be good reading.
