I recorded a correction, and made the same mistake!
So, one more take to get it right.

Hello,

My name is I-Tim and I've just joined LibriVox last month but didn't get time to do anything yet. I am from Thailand and currently I'm completing my Bronze International Award, I'm about to finish it, but due to COVID-19, I had to stop my previous volunteer work and do it online - here. This will be my first time recording so hopefully it goes well :D . Would it be possible for me to reserve a few parts as I have not done the one-minute test yet? Here are the parts I'd like to help out with:

10. Impression
21. The Requiter
33. The Little House
38. After sunset

Thank you!

What a beautiful collection! I'd love to be a part of this, so could I please take on 11, 39, and 41?

thank you,

EJ
Thanks, EJ, signing you up. Do I detect an Irish theme here? :D

Hi All,

I have successfully recorded my one minute test already and I was hoping to join this project and read poems 33, 34 and 37 as my official first readings.

Thank you!

Hello, I-Tim and welcome to Librivox!

I can reserve you these four poems for you for one month. This will give you the time to complete your one-minute-test, which we recommend, before you start recording anything in a project.

The test's purpose is to check that your technical settings are all up to LV standard. You can read all about it here: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test

Please post the test in the Listeners Wanted forum: viewforum.php?f=21 and someone will check it and give you feedback or advice if needed.

As soon as the test is ok'ed, please post the results back here, and then I can assign you the sections officially.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. :)

Good luck with the test !

Hi Terri, and welcome to Librivox!

Poem 33 was claimed by another reader just before you posted, but I can definitely sign you up for the other two, Poems 34 and 37.

Thanks,

Hi EJ!

My father-in-law will definitely approve. He was born in Cork Hospital, though the family later emigrated and he grew up in Australia. Coincidently, he was a surf lifesaver at Tamarama Beach, the same beach that one of the poems in this collection is about. It's one of Sydney's smaller cove beaches. https://mattlauder.com.au/main-photo-gallery/landscape-gallery/eastern-beaches-sydney/eastern-beaches-aerial/tamarama-beach-5/#prettyPhoto/0/

Hi again,

I had so much fun with the last one, I just felt I had to do another one. As I looked though the available ones, section 22, Titania caught my attention. It sounds like it could have been the next good step in he life of the narrator of The Old Men Sit by Me :D

Thanks,

Wayne
