Arden,

What a pleasure to listen to your sections, and welcome to LibriVox! I have a couple of recommendations for you ("PL notes"). First of all, I noticed that both of your recordings have a high level of background noise. You can use the noise cleaning feature in Audacity to eliminate this noise. There are written instructions in the LibriVox wiki here. Or, if you prefer, you can watch Phil's video here. Do not reduce the noise by more than 18 dB as the post-processing will distort your voice. Also, the next time you record, make sure that you turn off everything you can hear before you start reading (fans, etc.) to eliminate the need for noise reduction.

Second, Section 40 needs an additional second of noise at the end of the recording. 5 full seconds of silence is required at the end of every recording to avoid the potential that any reading will get cut off when the recording is downloaded onto mobile devices by listeners.

Please make the above corrections and re-upload. Thanks so much!
Thanks so much cadastra! Reuploaded. Sorry, in my excitement I forgot to noise clean. Confounded computer fan. But.. just the other day I got my boom arm. Now, friends, it begins.

May I have section 36?

This is my first time requesting a section. I've passed my 1-minute test.

ps: please tell me your wishes regarding the catalogue page!

- every reader gets a catalogue page.
- your catalogue name can be an alias, your forum name or your real name (or something else) (if you want to read a name in the recordings, it should be the catalogue name)
- it even offers some additional functionalities (for yourself, as a reader) and an overview over your claims, eg.
- we can publish a link to a homepage or a blog, if existing and you wish so

--> please tell me your name in the catalogue (with punctuation) and the link
:D

Sorry for the late reply, I am having trouble figuring out my catalogue name. I knew I wanted a pseudonym.

Please use:
Elizabeth Black

No link.

Thanks!
