wow that was a fast turn-around, Tomas, thank you so much ! And Careless is excellently portrayed, I bet you had fun to make fun of me in your wooing scene. I love the asides ! And what woman in her right mind would believe such over-honeyed compliments and love statements  Brilliant comedy !

Everything PL ok.

Now looking forward to hearing it all in its entirety.

Todd: all 5 acts ready to edit !!!

Acts 1, 2, 3 are ready for final PL.

A riot of confusion. Shame there are so few Congreves to do - you all sound like you are greatly enjoying yourselves!

Just listened to Act 1, and wow it was hilarious. I especially love the scene when Brisk, Plyant and Froth come in. They are a perfectly silly trio  (this was a compliment...)

Everybody was excellent in their roles !! Looking forward to the next act, but it may have to wait for tomorrow.

Only one edit to make:

> at 7:16: missed voice credit for Brisk

the rest perfectly edited

thanks !

Finished Act 2, and wholly enjoyed it. I especially like Devorah as Lady Froth, so full of herself in her "précieuse ridicule" persona   I also admit that I enjoyed Sir Paul being battered down with words by his good lady

In all: everybody was great in their roles

My lady Plyant has a small edit to suggest, which Sir Paul will accept if he knows what's good for him:

> at 4:29-4:33: [He bows profoundly low, then kisses the glass.] – I would suggest to put this at 4:24, before Lady Froth say " nay, my lord, you shan’t kiss it so much", because the action would trigger the exclamation

we'll talk about "dumpling" later...it's not fit for the forum.

Act 2 now Spot PL ok and Act 3 is also PL ok. Wonderfully entertaining, both the Plyant scene and the Froth scene  Everybody is in their element here like a fish in water.

Short break, then I'll do the rest...

Act 4 finally showed me the devilish plot between Maskwell and Lady Touchwood in execution  Interesting how it all came out in the end. Some powerful scenes in her as well. I really enjoy this play. Too bad Congreve didn't have many more of those :(

One suggestion for improvement:

> at 45:30-45:34: [As she is going she turns back and smiles at him.] – I think this is better put at 45:20, before Mellefont says "Why by heaven she laughs, grins, points to your back" because also here, her actions trigger this exclamation

The rest perfectly assembled, as always !

And now for the dénouement...
