Such a nice reading!

All that has to be done is to raise the volume up by 5, 6, or 7 dBs and to eliminate a repeat at 5:44 - 5:56.

Also, please have between one-half and one second of silence at the opening and a full five seconds of silence at the close.

Thank you very much! Hope to hear more from you!

Here is my revised part 4. Pls forgive (and ignore) if I posted before. I was sure that I did but cannot find the email trail to prove it. I loved reading this;).

You know already about the incorrect introduction and I'm sure you'll get the file name done properly. That's all that's of real concern.

I would like to recommend that you truncate the pauses a bit. I'm not a role model, but I rarely have pauses in prose pieces that are more than a second in length. 1.5 seconds works in many cases, and more than 2 seconds can sound terribly long. But you seem to know what you like. It's really up to your taste and, possible, the wishes of the BC.
OK have amended the start and gone through and truncated some of the more egregious pauses :)

Section 14:

https://librivox.org/uploads/linny/chateauandcountrylife_14_waddington_128kb.mp3

Time: 31.42

Racing to the finish now! Her franglais is getting almost out of control in this one, it gets quite hard work switching between accents several times in a sentence! :? Still, I've got rather fond of her by now, she does seem to enjoy her life so much!

Thanks Lucy! She really did seem to have a very nice life....I came across a New York Times magazine interview with her (from a trip back to NYC after years of living in France) that I plan to record for a short nonfiction collection one of these days.
