Hello!
ViolaSmiles has recorded her first testing (a short children's poem), but we are having a hard time logging into the librivox upload2lv page. I think this is too techy for me ... I will keep on trying to figure out how to upload :)

spatel2 wrote: October 16th, 2020, 8:58 pm I have a little story with this; I edited the things you told me to(sorry about those mistakes), and then it looked as if some part of my recording was cut off, so I re-did the whole thing because the whole recording was gone(even though I had it in my finder).

So then, I had to re-record it. I really didn't want to do this, because that makes more work for you, which is all my fault. I also had a problem with my microphone today, so you might hear some buzz behind my voice(I applied some noise reduction, as one of the admins suggested).

Sorry about this delay, but I re-recorded with your suggestions in mind. Thanks for that(I didn't know sew, or Susan had that pronunciation). Sorry about this, today for LV hasn't gone so well fo me. Thanks for your understanding.
Thank you for making the corrections suggested; those are all fine now! However, when you re-record other mistakes can pop up and I did find a small one:

7:47- heard wrong word pronounced in context of the sentence "Raggedy Ann said, as she wound the thread around her hand and pulled..."
I heard "wound" as in "I have a wound on my finger." or perhaps "It's just a flesh wound"

It should be "wound" as in the past tense of winding a clock. Both words are spelled exactly the same but said differently. Isn't the English language fun! Since Rageddy Ann is talking about winding thread around her finger we don't want to use the pronunciation that sounds like she has an injury.

Hi everyone! Since this seems to be a fun book and lots of people like to read these stories, I will be opening Raggedy Ann, the first book, as a group project very soon. If you are interested stay tuned or just let me know and I'll post when it is in the Launch Pad. Gotta love that big smile!! :D
