Did you get the DPL's PM about the differences found in the text you were reading? If you're reading from a text other than the Gutenberg one, it might have copyright issues. We have to sort that out sooner rather than later.

Also, don't forget to put the section into the Magic Window. :)

I did. I am reading from Gutenberg, not some other version. I must have made some small mistakes.

Just writing to update that I am still involved in the project.

Dear Geoffrey, I have finished PL-ing the first section. Beautiful reading, so dramatic and different voices are done beautifully.

There are a few technical things that need to be fixed:

1. file name should be christmascarol_01_dickens_128kb (an underscore is missing between dickens and 128)

2. please add 5 seconds of silence at the end of the recording

3. the volume falls outside of the target range which is 86-92 dB and is now at 93.6 dB.

You also say "Recording by" in the beginning and "Recorded by" at the end. I'm not sure if this is something that also needs to be fixed. Tricia, what would you suggest? (Sorry, I'm not sure how to tag you properly so I'm using this quote below.)
Thanks for the update!

I get a notification when there's any post in the thread, whether I'm quoted or not. :)

Recording by / Recorded by doesn't really matter, although I personally would choose the beginning or the end (not both) to put it. I think of the listeners that listen straight through and get your name twice in a row (end of one recording and the start of the next). ;)

I will fix that issue as soon as I can. Sorry about the delays. I've been having some issues with my microphone lately.
