We cannot enter more than one author into works in a collection. I'm not sure how we'd resolve this. (We could use "various" but that wouldn't return results when searching for either author.)
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

wikipedia wrote:In the Year 2889 1609770994 Jules Verne - 2014 "Although published under the name of Jules Verne, it is now believed to be chiefly if not entirely the work of Jules' son, Michel Verne. In any event, many of the topics in the article echo Verne's ideas.".
As Tricia has indicated, the current system only allows one author per section in a collection. Options:

1. Change to Michel Verne for all four instances, and include a note in the summary as above as was done for the 8th anniversary collection. " In The Year 2889 was originally published under the name of Jules Verne, but is currently believed to be the work of his son, Michel Verne."

2. Leave the author as Jules Verne in all instances and add the note to the summary as above.

3. Add both authors to the title so a search for either will find this story. (This last option will look odd since that is not how the other sections in the collections are listed.)

My preference would be number 1. :)

For the work 'Astounding Stories 04, April 1930' https://librivox.org/astounding-stories-04-april-1930-by-ray-cummings/

The author pages of

Captain S. P. Meek https://librivox.org/author/7

and

Ray Cummings https://librivox.org/author/2

Both list the same work, some thing like that is what I was thinking. Both author pages should show all 4 recordings.

I catalogued that quite differently because they were magazines not random texts. The normal collections don't work that way.

I am new and not familiar with your tools or processes. I do not think I am suggesting anything unusual.

In rereading my posts, I might not have been clear.

There are 4 Audio recordings of the same work,

PG attributes the work to both authors http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/19362

I think that all 4 recordings should be listed on the author page of both authors.

Michel Verne (should have links to all 4, currently has 1)
https://librivox.org/author/9695

Jules Verne (should have links to all 4, currently has 3)
https://librivox.org/author/189

As to which author is listed on the collections, I don't have a strong feeling. But I like Jo's suggestion
Change to Michel Verne for all four instances,

I think that all 4 recordings should be listed on the author page of both authors
.
And that is the problem, there is only space for 1 author in the metadata for works in collections. there is no room for translators either. This is not ideal but it is how it is and we need to live with it and try to get the best results we can.

They have all been changed to Michel Verne.

It's not ideal, but the way our catalog database is set up, it's the best we can do. :)
