[COMPLETE]Dramatic Selections from Henry Lawson's Short Stories-mtf
So I was going to start recording today, but I decided instead to go on a walkabout to get myself in the Aussie frame of mind... but after 5 minutes' walk, I passed my first pub and I realized I'm supposed to be playing an Irishman, so I popped into the pub for a few lillys... and after 7 hours, I stumbled out -- my sleech is a wee bit spurred, but fow I neel cabaple of doing the part justice...SonOfTheExiles wrote: ↑October 2nd, 2020, 4:51 pmNo worries at all, we're on Aussie time here, so it's all good.benderca wrote: ↑September 29th, 2020, 1:01 pmDitto what Larry said for me...silverquill wrote: ↑September 29th, 2020, 10:12 am Just checking in to let you know I haven't forgotten about this project -- just a few setbacks. The Frenchman likes his glass of wine,
The German his lager beer,
The Englishman like his 'alf-n-'alf,
Because it gives more cheer,
The Scotsman likes his whiskey straight,
The Irishman likes it hot,
The Australian has no national drink,
So he drinks the bloody lot!
Cheers,
Chris
P.S. An Australian walked into a bar. It hurt.

PL-OK. The volume is a bit low, but no worries, I can amplify that easily in the DR assembly process.

Not sure what the accent is supposed to be but I guess there would have been people from all sorts of odd places in Oz in those days
