Thank you, Grant! So is there a Perth Road in Dundee? Or is that fictitious, too?
Everything great with the recording, PL OK!

As a break from my recording the ASV Bible for Librivox, and with your permission, I'd be interested in submitting "The Black Cat" by E.A. Poe. Gutenberg has it in The Works of Edgar Allan Poe, Volume 2.

Oh indeed there is a Perth Road, Dundee, and coincidentally a Dundee Road, Perth which is 23 miles east of Dundee.
Stumbling across this short story reminded me of the Tay Rail Bridge disaster in 1879. Spookily the Perth Road, Dundee runs along the river Tay and very near the Tay Rail Bridge. Seventy passengers were on board and they along with the staff on board are all believed to have perished. Hauntings from the Tay Rail Bridge were very much publicized, and I recall these history lessons whilst in school in Dundee. I wonder then if The Floating Head at a Hotel/Inn on the Perth Road, Dundee is a soul from the Tay Bridge Disaster.
Glad it read and played ok - thank you.

Hi Rapunzelina,
I hope this finds you well. I have uploaded “The Golgotha Dancers” by Manly Wade Wellman. This was a fun one to do as the narrator is the main character. Although I am not completely happy with my narration, it was a great exercise in staying in “character” for an entire story. Looking forward to getting some more experience in character work.
Cheers!!!

I don't quite understand the small letters in the website but it says "Availability [RESTRICTED]. Available with prior consent of the CELT programme for purposes of academic research and teaching only."
So I have found the same text as a scan, here: https://archive.org/details/allyearround09dickgoog/page/n192/mode/2up
Your recording is PL OK, optionally you can delete the "one" from around 6:15. It is not in the scanned text, and my guess is that it was accidentally added for the text formatting (indent) .

Here's "Sir Dominick's Bargain" again with the "one" removed". I couldn't see what purpose it served, but I originally left it in so that it would be (I assumed) true to the text. Duration now 32:04.
