I bought new "PreSonus Audio Box 96 Studio". Do you think this will suffice for audio books (and double up as a podcast tool too)? I have not opened the box and have 30 days to return. Thank you in advance.

PreSonus makes decent stuff. You should have no problem recording for Librivox or podcasting with that setup. It comes with Studio One Artist software. You can install it and play with it if you want but if you're new to audio you'll want to stick with Audacity (which is free). Software like Studio One is aimed primarily at musicians and can be difficult to use for single track voice. The upside to Studio One is that the effects would be much better than those in Audacity. But the learning curve with Audacity is much shorter and there are a lot of people on these forums that can help you with any problems you might have. Good luck and have fun.
