"Tattle, a half-witted beau, vain of his amours, yet valuing himself for secrecy", if you please, Todd. Time to get my upper-class horndog voice going.

I can't seem to spot that "Act 4 sc 14 song chanted by Tattle" bit, though.

Cheers,
Chris

I can just see the reviews in Phil's Zoom DR session tomorrow...

"Nice crop of corn you got there, Todd. What did you do, plant Chris's part?"

wow Tommy, what a wonderful performance  I really love the character you gave Valentine, especially in the madness act. But already the first scene was excellently frivolous, I can picture Hugh Laurie playing this guy. Some of the more flippant sentences you actually kinda spoke like he would  excellent job.

Acts 3 and 5 are straight PL ok, but I have a few notes for the other three acts:

PL notes for Act 1:

> for the voice credit, please always use the full description that is written in the Magic Window, in this case: " Valentine, fallen under his father’s displeasure by his expensive way of living, in love with Angelica, read by..." You can then cut out "Act 1 and Prologue" because that will be read by the narrator of the play

> at 0:06: you said the title for the prologue but then the actual prologue text is missing :hmm: could you include that please in Act 1 as well ? Starting with "The husbandman in vain renews his toil" and ending at " Before your late encouragement of wit."

> at 0:08: "act 1 scene 1" can also be cut, again, the narrator is reading this part

> at 14:55: "end of act 1" can equally be cut out

> oh and careful with filenames, capital letters (Valentine) should not be used. Not so important in drama roles, but in other projects it is ;)

PL notes for Act 2:

> at 0:27: repeat: " Why, sir, that you would not go to the extremity of the conditions, but release me at least from some part." – can you cut out one version, please. I would say the first, because there is a small textual error ("what" instead of "that")

PL notes for Act 4:

> at about 13:15: missed line "No more, for I am melancholy."

Thank you !

 I had to laugh a lot here, each time Tattle tries to keep a secret and later on reveals way too much before trying to "bite off his tongue". What an ingénu, in a way. Endearing, one cannot really be mad at him.

Oh and you had quite a steamy love scene there  although it got cut short by the nurse.

Excellent job so far, Chris. Looking forward to the rest. Thanks !

Acts 1 and 2 are already PL ok.

I have a question for Todd for Act 3, so wait until we hear back from the boss.

> at about 7:49: should this song not also be done by Tattle ? It seems to me that Scandal is asking it directly of him. :hmm:
A nymph and a swain to Apollo once prayed,
The swain had been jilted, the nymph been betrayed:
Their intent was to try if his oracle knew
E’er a nymph that was chaste, or a swain that was true.

Apollo was mute, and had like t’have been posed,
But sagely at length he this secret disclosed:
He alone won’t betray in whom none will confide,
And the nymph may be chaste that has never been tried.

Yes, Godfather.

You don’t imagine I’m going to argue after that whole horsehead thing yesterday.
