In un teatro in cui si sta provando una rappresentazione irrompono sei "personaggi" che dotati di vita reale cercano un autore che gli permetta di realizzare e rappresentare il loro dramma
L'opera non è divisa in atti, per espressa indicazione dell'autore, ma l'azione è interrotta comunque in due punti che creano una naturale divisione dell'opera in tre parti

• 1. C'è un termine ultimo?
     Ti chiediamo di inviare la registrazione delle sezioni da te scelte entro 1-2 mesi dalla richiesta (o entro il termine ultimo, se questo cade prima). Per favore nota che, per rispetto ai lettori che hanno completato in tempo le loro sezioni, se dopo due mesi non avrai ancora inviato le tue sezioni, queste saranno automaticamente rimesse a disposizione degli altri volontari, a meno che non invii qui un messaggio per chiedere una dilazione. Le dilazioni saranno concesse a discrezione del Book Coordinator. Se, per qualsiasi ragione, non puoi completare le tue sezioni, faccelo sapere, in modo da poterle rimettere in gioco. Non c'è da vergognarsi: siamo tutti volontari e imprevisti possono sempre accadere.
     
     Si prega di non sottoscrivere più sezioni di quelle completabili entro il termine di due mesi.

Clicca su "Post reply", in alto a sinistra sullo schermo, e scrivi quale sezione ti piacerebbe leggere (includendo il numero che trovi nella colonna all'estrema sinistra della lista sezioni/lettori). Leggi i punti dal 6 all'8 qui sotto per sapere cosa fare prima, durante e dopo la registrazione.

Good choice - nice to get this into the catalog in the original!

I am not sure if Kitty will want to MC this, but in any case, we'll need a few more sections - like in the English dramas we do:
- one section for each of the final acts.
- one section for each role per act they are in (so if one role is in two acts, that's two lines).

From the English version we have, I counted 20 roles, so we're talking about 63 sections or less.
I know this sounds like a lot of work, but trust me, it's less complicated in the long run, and this will be a long-run project.

all right, Pier, I can MC this project. I know you are waiting to launch.

I will indeed create more sections for you to fill out. Every role should have a separate section for each part of the play they appear in.

Example:

Figlia, Parte 1
Figlia, Parte 2

I understand that you will have to split it in 3 parts, because the sections would be longer than 74 minutes, is that correct ? Did you make the breaks clear in your google doc sheet, so there will be no confusion for the reader how far they have to read for each section ?

Also, we need to link to the original Gutenberg text as well, even if most of the Italian readers will read from your doc sheet. The final assembled play should be PLed with the Gutenberg text. I can do that when everything is finished.

Ok, I made a few changes in the file name and added the Gutenberg source text.

I also put a few names in the MW, so you see how it should be done. Can you give a section for every role, for every part they appear in and put them in the MW ?

Also, we need the Intro disclaimer in Italian for the narrator, can you translate that part please and edit your first post ? You can simply take the one from Carducci, this is the standard disclaimer in Italian I would say.

My preferences are, in descending order:

1. Sections 4-6 (Padre 1, 2, 3)
2. Sections 1-3 (Narratore 1, 2, 3)
3. Sections 13-15 (Figlio 1, 2, 3)
4. Sections 17-19 (Capocomico 1, 2, 3)

Difficult and important role! Congratulations again and good luck!
I think that one reader for each main role should be the best solution, if possible.
You (and all other readers accepting main roles) although will be most welcome to accept later minor roles in case they will stay unclaimed for some time. Of course, in such a case I would ask you to make some effort to keep your voice distinguishable from the other role assumed by you
