I answered in a hurry before, but I checked the text now, and as this is a magazine with articles written by different authors, the one you're interested in, "Motherhood and Marriage", is by Henriette Fürth (1861 - 1938), so it is actually OK for you to record that one, if you're still willing!
I'll see if I can get in touch with the book coordinator to respond to the posts here. Thanks!
Ah OK, that makes sense! But I can see someone else has put in a claim for it so to keep things simple I don't mind bowing out of this project.
Huge thanks for looking into this Rapunzelina!

Hello, may I please have section 17 ("The Game is Up") assigned to me? Thanks.
Hello! Thank you for claiming and we're sorry for the delay in responding to your request. I have now signed you up for section 17 if you're still willing! Since it's the last section, please also include at the end, in addition "End of Mother Earth Vol. 1 No. 4 June 1906 " Thank you!

If no one has claimed it yet, could I read "Object Lesson for Advocates of Governmental Control"? Thanks!
If you are using Audacity, you could try the Noise Reduction effect, for some faint background noise I hear in your recording, to see if it sounds any better to your ears. This is of course optional and just a suggestion for future recordings. No need to change anything in your uploaded recording.
Also, I forgot to mention that, in Section 8, I incorporated the only footnote into the text instead of reading it as a
separate footnote. It seemed to work - hope that's okay.
