I've been having problems with LV the past couple of days so it is probably on my end. I will send it again.

Here is Section 16:

Run time is 11:04
PLEASE NOTE: I did the best I could with the left margin cut off on the first page of the source text. I believe I was able to read most of the words correctly. If there are any that I could not completely decipher I read a word as close as I thought probable that still made sense in the sentence. Please advise if there are any egregious mistakes that need correcting.
Thanks!

Here is Section 47:

PLEASE NOTE - although the MW does not warn of this being a rough section, the final page of the source text is overexposed. The second column of the final page suffers from the same cut off edge that plagues some of the earlier sections of this project. I did my best to read or interpret some of the words that were cut off. Please advise if I need to make any corrections.
Thanks!

Thank you, Greg! I am sorry for missing the bad scan on the second page. I think I got so used to looking at the left side of the pages, that I forgot to look at the right. I probably should go back through all the scans to see if I missed any others.GregGiordano wrote: ↑September 29th, 2020, 8:46 pm Here is Section 47:

Thanks, Maria. It caught me by surprise too. When I scanned the article before claiming, it did not register that the last piece was on that side of the page. I'm glad I was able to muddle through and get it right!m8b1 wrote: ↑September 30th, 2020, 3:05 pmThank you, Greg! I am sorry for missing the bad scan on the second page. Hi Laura,
Welcome to LibriVox! Section 31 is all yours! Please read the first post of this thread carefully.
Please let me know under which name or pseudonym you'd like to appear in the LibriVox catalogue. It can be your real name, forum name, or a pseudonym ~ whatever you prefer.
Also, since this is your first recording, we ask that you send in a 1-minute test recording. This is not an audition, it's just to make sure the sound quality and the recording settings are all right - often things can be improved at the outset that are difficult to fix later. Please go to https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test to find out what to record for your 1-minute test, and how to upload the recording. In the LibriVox Uploader, please select 'tests - tests' from the MC drop-down, and then post your test recording in the Listeners Wanted forum, rather than in this thread - you'll get feedback more quickly there.

Thanks for the directions. I completed the test and posted as instructed:
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=83050
I would like to appear in the catalog as Laura Herman.
Once I receive feedback on the test, I will dive in! Thanks again,
Laura
