[Complete] A Broken Bond by Nicholas Carter - lt
Lynne,
the stumble is as written : ....he said "and I-I won't forget that you saved my life. Someday I hope to repay you. ......
If the transcript from Gutenberg is incorrect or if it sounds strange, I can edit it out if you want.
Regards.

Hi and welcome to Librivox!
There are a few things to do before you get started.
You will need to complete a one minute test - this is to check your specs are up to Librivox standards, and if not, you'll be given hints on how to remedy that. http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
Please post your test in the Listeners Wanted forum (see the dropdown at the bottom of the page) for the speediest response. Waiting for the OK may seem tedious, but can save time in the long run.
You will also need to be added to the catalog of readers. I will add you using your forum name, but if you prefer your real name or a pseudonym let me know. We can also link to a personal blog or website. Be sure to read the first post - all the info you need is there, but if anything doesn't make sense, just ask. The wiki (see the top of the page) has bundles of info too.

Chapter 8
There are a few technical issues with your file.
The bit rate needs to be 128kb constant
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l54FyB3wLpA
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kBZ9fFopLRg&feature=youtu.be
The volume is too low. We look for close to 89dB and your file is 83dB. Please amplify by about 6dB.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw
You can use the Checker program to monitor these for yourself.
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker
~4:42 there is a stumble "At what... at that"
~4:56 error "onely one object" should be "only on one object"
~6:07 bad edit on word "malignantly"
~6:42 I hear "three times on the boat Cor" should be "three times on board the Cortez"
~7:35 bad edit "in jeopard" should be "in jeopardy"
~9:45 misread "for the time is on the wink" should be "for time is on the wing"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLdJsoGQc9c
I have one other tip for you: pay attention to punctuation. All your sentences run together and it is difficult for the listener to process one sentence or phrase before you move on to the next. With audiobooks, slower is better It's not a race.
Please re-upload with the same file name and post here when you've done it.
