You can't set it up yourself. That is something that a BC or MC can set up for you. All you have to do is let us know what name you want to use. Many people use their real name, but many others prefer a pseudonym.WilliamDavis wrote: ↑September 23rd, 2020, 5:12 pmI do not and am unsure of how to set one up. Is there a resource you could point me too?
Kevin, FYI, the MCs have been discussing some things lately, and the consensus is that when a new reader claims and they aren't yet set up, you should just go ahead and create their reader page using their forum name as the display name so that the section can be officially assigned. It is easy for any MC to change that display name when they decide what they want. This way, BCs can avoid confusion around sections being "unofficially" asigned and the MW is cleaner and easier to understand. (Also, if you're not sure whether they have a page yet, just attempt to assign them the section. If they don't show up in the drop down menu, then they don't have a reader page.)
With this in mind, I went ahead and created William's catalogue page: https://librivox.org/reader/15007 I also assigned him section 5. William, if you'd like to use something other than your forum name on this page, let me know, and I'll change it.

Chapters 2 and 3 are PL OK and both very well read! I especially liked the dramatic effect in chapter 3, very suitable reading for this particular chapter! I noticed though in Chapter 3 intro, 0:15, it goes "Tea and Drinking" instead of "Tea and Tea Drinking", in case it's something worth fixing. ?
I think the correction is worth doing. Not vital, but it would be nice.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑September 24th, 2020, 8:12 am I especially liked the dramatic effect in chapter 3, very suitable reading for this particular chapter! Thank you, Kevin! I've marked the section "See PL notes."

Section 3: Spot checked and PL OK! Nice smooth editing.
Oh, and I just noticed we're already a fully assigned project!
