I am astounded that I managed to make a recording of the Zoom LibriVox Chit chat meeting that was held last night.

Be aware that this was my first time recording and it started earlier than the meeting actually started so the first few minutes are wonderful images of Rich waiting patiently for me to plug in my microphone. The names are not shown but that will be worked out later i hope. Anyway, there is the meeting; we covered lots of interesting things, sharing our recording setups, our drinking mugs, views on 1 minute tests, and lots else. The next zoom meeting is set for Saturday night 7 pm i think. the official invite will be later.

I watched the video. Looks like fun! I will try to join the next one, if my weekend activities permit.
Claudia - You don't need an official account, I don't think. If my memory serves, you can go to "join a meeting" then enter the ID and passcode given in the first post. I think you have to type in your name (it'll show to all of us along with your video or generic image). That should be about it.
P.S. And I was even mentioned, without being there! I'm ubiquitous! But yes - please, if you have a good sense of comedic timing and reading comedy, do a new version of the Stephen Leacock books. I'm just a hack.

So..... if i moved the time to Noon Central it would be better for you, eh? And don't assume we are all merry. We welcome grumpy and depressed people too.

You are a brilliant host, Phil!
I was thinking that you could put a link to your invitation post in your signature. With all the posting you do around the forum, it might be a good way for more people to see the invitation.

No account needed. Just click the link and put in the password. (no secret handshake yet but clothing is optional)
Possible discussion item: Zoom workshop for narrators? Worth doing? Think there'd be any interest? I'm willing to host.

Well Mark, with several hundred narrators on this site I think there would be a lot of interest especially if you would host and share like you did in our last one. (I already have two little stuffed animals in front of my screen.) What is your time zone?
EDIT: Hey,note that I've got the Zoom invite in my sig. A great idea! (not mine)
