Greetings -

Meetali10 did a good job of reading Chapter 22 and it has been so noted in the MW as PL OK.

I have noticed that the voices of certain readers match a certain type of book.

dolivervo's voice matches this book very well. Chapter 24 was well read and easy to listen to. Definitely PL OK.

Let's hear more from you, dolivervo.

Greetings -

The things you do while PLing.

I am sitting here having listened to Owlivia's excellent reading of Chapter 12 while smelling the smoke from wildfires that are about 20 miles away. Our whole county is in a Stage 1 evacuation alert and several members of my church have had to evacuate already.

This, indeed, has been an interesting year.

Hi there,

Chapter 26 is finally in: https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/christandhisfriends_26_banks_128kb.mp3

Time: 27:39

P.S.

lomond, I know you folks in Clackamas County are really being hit hard. I was down in Gresham yesterday and it was a mess, but it isn't too nice up here, either. We are about 20 miles away from a small fire up our valley, but no notices yet, and it seems things are/should be getting better. Best of luck.

We never really grow up, we just learn how to act in public.

May sound a bit hoarse. SO much smoke! (But at least the sky is no longer red. :( )

Sending feathery hugs and prayers for safekeeping to Lomond.

Greetings -

Thanks to everyone for their concern. Much appreciated.

I have joined the ranks of too many Oregonians who have had to evacuate their homes due to the many wildfires here in Oregon. Fortunately, the evacuation site is next to my church and I am putting in a number of hours each day volunteering here.

I have limited access to the internet and, so, I might need some help with my PL duties. I will do what I can, but would not take it personally if folks wanted to help out. :) :) We have been told that we could be here for up to three weeks.

For two days last week, Portland, Oregon, had the worst air quality index in the world so keep us in your thoughts and prayers.
