sorry for the delay in feedback, David, but now I had a listen to it all. Yes the first act is always trickiest because of the cast list. Indeed here are a few things I may draw your attention to...As a good advice: It's always the easiest to check the cast list against what Todd wrote up in the MW, then you see how the voice credits exactly should run and you won't miss any of the persons in the play. Sometimes the cast list is not exactly complete (there may be groups of "courtiers" which later turn out as messenger, lord 1, lord 2, page, etc) I agree that mostly we get the exact voice credits in from the reader, so we won't need the majority of your list, but this is a safety net, in case a reader vanishes without adding them, so it's best to have the narrator read them out then.

> at 1:48: "Toclio and Oswald, two noblemen" - this is an example, where there should be two separate credits: "Toclio, a nobleman" and "Oswald, a nobleman"
> at 3:06: "Two Bishops" - same here, but checking the MW, it seems to be only one Bishop speaking (the other probably being Anselm, later bishop), "Bishop" would be enough
> at 3:13: "Two Saxon lords" - "Saxon Lord 1" and "Saxon Lord 2"
> at 3:21: "Two of Edol's Captains" - seems to only be one speaking role, so "Edol's captain" is enough
> at 3:29: "Two gentlemen" - also here: Gentleman 1 and Gentleman 2
> at 3:54: "Constantia and Modestia, daughters to Donobert" - they also need separate credits
> at about 4:28: if you look in the MW you see three more roles: Armel, Plesgeth and Messenger, which also need to be included. And finally you also forgot to include your own voice credit "Stage directions, read by David Purdy"
> at about 6:46: you forgot the end disclaimer: "End of act 1"

so sorry to hear that it's so hot here luckily the temperatures have dropped quite a bit, though still not cold.

Modesta is really great and dramatic in this Act, loved her very much I can picture one of the really great tragedians pining and sighing on her knees, wringing her hands to heaven

Unfortunately you missed the final lines:

dont' worry about too long silences between parts. Better too long than too short. It's easier for Todd to cut out and edit it together.

And your first acting is brilliant, I loved it very much. Never thought Uther was much of a mooning and pining for love prince (I am tainted by my current watching of the BBC Merlin series, where is he is....well...the less said the better) but you played the youthful lover very convincingly here. Still dutiful in this final scene and torn between lust and guilt. Nicely conveyed. I'm looking forward to the rest of the character development.

I have a few notes for editing here though:

> for the voice credit, please always read the exact description as in the Magic window, here "Uter Pendragon, the Prince, Brother to Aurelius, read by Jackson Berkhouse" – you can cut out "Act 2 Scene 1", this will be read by the narrator of the play

> at 1:21: (p. 357) you forgot part of your speech here: "Pygmalion, then I tasted thy sad fate, whose ivory picture and my fair were one: our dotage past imagination- I saw and felt desire –"

> at 3:20: "act 2 scene 3" can also be cut out

> and careful about your volume. This one is only 85 dB, slightly under our accepted limits (86-92). +3 dB amplification would be better. But in the end Todd will adjust the volume anyway, so this is only for future consideration.

Thank you again for all your patience with me, Sonia! I have really appreciated your tips on how to read stage directions. Hopefully I will remember them for future plays!
