Greetings -

Life continues to be interesting here at Lomond's Listening Laboratory as I found myself having to move.

All of your well-read readings were PL OK with just one exception:

Chapter 31, Time 01:23, The text has "The queen with her litter". The reading has "The queen upon her litter".

What an interesting and eclectic range of emotions and images in these poems. I can see why you enjoy them. And, I couldn't help but notice that evening the opening has its own rhyme with "Nathalia Crane" and "public domain". :)

Looking forward to more.

Greetings Lomond!

I am so glad you are safe and doing well. My oldest son lives in Portland and he has been giving us updates. It certainly is a worrisome time on the west coast.

Here is the corrected poem 31. Fortunately when I went back to the original recording I said it correctly once and incorrectly the second time:

Here are the next batch of poems:

https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/janitorsboyandotherpoems_36_crane_128kb.mp3. 2:32.92
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/janitorsboyandotherpoems_37_crane_128kb.mp3. 2:9.52
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/janitorsboyandotherpoems_38_crane_128kb.mp3. 2:6.75
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/janitorsboyandotherpoems_39_crane_128kb.mp3. 2:3.64
https://librivox.org/uploads/icequeen/janitorsboyandotherpoems_40_crane_128kb.mp3. 4:24.72

We had planned to visit Portland this past June but events intervened. Hopefully next year and maybe we can meet up for lunch!

Thank you for all you do and under such trying circumstances too!

Greetings -

It is good to be back to the "normalcy" of PLing. It has been a long two weeks. I spent a good number of hours volunteering at the evacuation site and am now feeling the adrenaline wearing off. It is interesting to feel physically tired but spiritually refreshed. We had up to 138 RVs in our evacuation site with over 300 people. At least two of our evacuees no longer have a home to go home to.

Thanks for the correction which has been shown in the MW.

Chapters 34, 35, and 36 were found to be PL OK.

Chapter 37:

TIME: 01:04 TEXT: "You wed for love, for wealth, for power" Reading inserts the word "thrice" after "wed".

Will get to more of them tomorrow, but right now the sandman is getting insistent.

I have loved doing these poems which run, as my mother would have said, "from the subleem to the sublime".
Best of all was working with you both.

As always many thanks for all you do.

AnnaLisa
Greetings -

Believe it or not, I have a favorite reading in this book. It has got to be Regina Mendosena. As always, all of these offerings were surely PL OK.

One quick correction and we are done with this book.

What next, AnnaLisa?
