Sounds perfect to me. I was planning to record the Preface myself anyway (and also to tack the dedication onto that section) so I'll make sure that I use the full intro & disclaimer. Otherwise I've updated the first post to include a Librivox reference for each poem.Rapunzelina wrote: ↑August 31st, 2020, 3:34 pm Magic Window is ready for you to populate. Since there's a preface, I would like to see (hear!) the full librivox intro and disclaimer in that section, since it's the first section of the project as well.
What do you think? The short disclaimer is fine for the rest of the poem sections, but please include a reference to Librivox, like in the Poetry Collection: "[Poem title], by Alfred Castner King, read for LibriVox dot org (optional: by [your name])"
- "Preface of Mountain Idylls, and Other Poems. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information, or to volunteer, please visit: librivox DOT org"
- If you wish, say:
"Recording by [your name], [city, your blog, podcast, web address]"- Say:
"Mountain Idylls, and Other Poems by Alfred Castner King. Preface"
Thanks for setting up the MW - I'll get to work on filling it out!
That would be lovely! Welcome aboard! I haven't personally done much PL-ing yet, but where most of these poems are quite short & manageable, feel free to let me know if you need an assist and I'd be happy to cover a few as well.

Sounds great! I'm happy to reserve it for you - but it looks like this is your first recording outside of the 1-minute test, so before I can assign it officially I just need to know what name you'd like to use for your catalog page. Some folks choose to use their real name, others go with their forum username, some go with another pseudonym altogether - it's totally up to you. Also, if you have a blog / personal website / etc. that you'd like to have listed on your catalog page, I can add that for you as well - that part's completely optional though.
Thanks Joebin - and welcome!

Andrew, you can still sign up new readers with their forum name. If they choose something different for the catalogue, I can then change it Thanks!

Cool! Here you can see your Reader page https://librivox.org/reader/14902 which you can also access from your name-link in the magic window. It lists the projects you read for, and can also help you keep track of your sections in ongoing projects under the Reader Section Details link.

Wow indeed - thanks again! The First Storm is ready for PL, and I've got you down for Grandeur as well. Please also include the footnote after the poem, but omit the image caption.cavaet wrote: ↑September 2nd, 2020, 6:00 pm https://librivox.org/uploads/rapunzelina/mountainidylls_49_king_128kb.mp3
