Carlos, I see you have added Chapter 3. Please post something in the thread when you add a section so that I will be informed. (I don't always know.)

Chapter 3 is PL OK!

I would like to see if you would like to run your sections through noise reduction. I can help if you'd like to do so. It would give your most worthy recordings a cleaner, crisp sound.

I do run these through Audacity's noise reduction. Are you getting any background noise? Is there any other application I should be using for this?

Here is the Checker program: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker

It was especially designed for LibriVox use. There is a function within it (one has to go to the menu) that gives a reading of the background noise. I try to keep my recordings to around 24.

To do this, I clean my recordings twice. It's not ideal, but I'm not in an entirely quiet environment.

Carlos, the reading is fine but the volumes are unequal before and after 13:57. (It looks like after 13:57 could use some cleaning, too.) ReplayGain will give you a 'pass' if you test the whole section at one time, but that's only because it takes the average of the whole piece.
