You really need to check your welcome email and do the 1-minute test to get all your settings right before trying to read a live section, there's nothing worse than us not being able to use a long recording because the settings are wrong. Consider it a "soundcheck" made before you step out on stage to a world-wide audience - you wouldn't want to sing your heart out with a faulty microphone setting
