I noticed that the title of The Jim Crow Car is misspelled on the cover. Spelled as one word Crowcar.

heyho,

cover files:
https://librivox.org/uploads/covers/rosetale.zip

for catalogue page:
https://librivox.org/rose-mather-a-tale-by-mary-jane-holmes/

pic used:
Cover picture is a vintage-postcard, first published ~1910. Picture is by Karen Arnold on
publicdomainpictures.net and in the public domain.
https://www.publicdomainpictures.net/en/view-image.php?image=191512
(if you look closely at the stem of the rose in the original, you see a signature and the year - i cannot read the signature, though.)

hope this is ok - thx for all your work!

cheers,
wolfi

edit and ps:
i used another of tese vintage postcards once before, it was stamped 1909. https://www.publicdomainpictures.net/en/view-image.php?image=171786
so that should be the time of publishing/drawing.
cheers
