I am a student from Virginia who has known about librivox since its beggining.
as a visually impared listener, I am one who has greatly benifited from your efforts.
I will not be able to record chapters for this community, but what I can offer this forum, is my ear, and whatever ideas I have to help improve this site.
I also do not hesitate to spread the word via word of mouth.
PS, up untill now, I have been posting as the obnoxious guest. =)
Hi, from Virginia.
Hello Yakomo,
welcome "obnoxious guest"
Thanks for letting us know that you enjoy LibriVox. And even if you are not able to record anything, there are many ways to help here. I'm sure you already stumbled across the "Listeners Wanted" section. We are always in search for volunteers willing to prooflisten to the works. An promoting is also always appreciated.
Have a lot of fun here and enjoy the LibriVox recordings,
Rainer

Hi Yakumo. Glad to have you here. While you may not be able to read for us, we'd love to have you "proof" listen for us. Proof listening just involves listening to our files, before we get them posted for obvious mistakes. (like editing errors)
Thanks for joining up, we welcome any suggestions for overall improvement.

bah it even shows the times as identical.
As you can see Yakumo, we can be a bit fanatical about new volunteers
