Chad, are you sure you didn't upload your raw recording? There are more errors than I would usually expect from you 8-)

~2:30 repeat "these things... these things being conceded"
~2:40 stumble/repeat "the place was neither more nor less..."
~2:55 Repeat/stumble "Railway trains were only heard from..."
~3:40 Repeat "The farmers.... on market days"
~4:22 Repeat "when only"
~4:51 Repeat "on rare acquaintance"
~5:17 Repeat "from the capital"
5:34-5:44 long pause
~6:34 stumbles
7:07 Repeat "This was the reason..."
7:30-7:54 Repeats/longish pauses
8:00 Repeat "There may not have been any great rush"
8:49-9:06 long pauses/repeats
~9:24 Stumble "possessing"
~10:22 stumble
~10:54 stumble "the contents of the midden"
~11:22-11:34 stumbles/pauses
~13:12 stumbles
~14:20 Repeat "so long..."
~14:28 long pause
~14:36 Repeat "he would not lay aside"
~15:10 Repeat "he sat..."
~15:28 Repeat "Jamie promising to bring them"
~15:36 stumble "eight o'clock came"
~15:53 stumble
~16:33 Repeat "having gone out..."
Oh, yes, this is the raw recording, I was going to wait for this selection to be approved, but I included the recording at the time of submission. Since you have pointed out areas needing editing, sure I will amend this raw recording then.

Many thanks,
Chad

Hello,

Although, I have yet to amend my previous recording (I haven't forgotten, though I would request an extension of 1 week), I just to include this piece of work by Mark Twain (30 Nov 1835 - 21 Apr 1910).

Thank you.
I will leave the other recording in place until all other sections are full, but if you haven’t submitted corrections by then, I will delete it.

Lynett,
I have 4 works to possibly read the first chapter of each & then edit & post here. No limit for this thread? 4 is okay?
I did notice in the description on this thread, that reading the first chapter could help a person determine if they would like to contine with the story or not.

That's fine... no limit.
LV does have a rule that you can't use the same recording in two projects... so if you decide to record the whole book, you would need to re-record the first chapter. At least, you would be honor-bound, but it is unlikely people would know :hmm:

Thank you for the info. Now I know & I will ensure to follow the Lv rule here. Honorbound I am. 🙂

Hello Lynett,
Here is the conclusion.
I did post 1 of the 4. The 2nd one I have decided to put out as a group project with me having the first section under wraps as I did record it. The 3rd & 4th ones are not actually interesting to me so they are now disregarded by me to record.
Cheers to you,
April
