Very nice reading, Florence, and I think I've figured out what is going on with this section. Apparently, Kirby wrote most of the chapter (parts 1 and 2) and Wood's contribution is just the part about beetles. So after you read the introduction, just follow it as it's written to go right into the part about beetles.

:25 say W.F. Kirby and then read the entire intro to "...these orders separately."

:28 say, by the Reverend Theodore Wood
remove Kirby

:32 delete "Insects" because you've already said it
